The ALDA is an organization dedicated to the promotion of good governance and citizen participation at the local level. ALDA in particular focuses on activities that facilitate the cooperation between local authorities and civil society in the European Union and its neighbourhood. In this perspective, ALDA opened a call for proposals for activities and events which will take place from 1st September to 31st December 2016. ALDA will be supporting the organization and implementation of the selected activities.

Eligible activities must promote the active involvement of citizens on the most current issues on the EU agenda and contribute to an ever-integrated European Union.

The call is opened to local authorities and civil society organisations based in the following states: Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark Austria, the Netherlands, Hungary, Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Cyprus, Luxembourg, United Kingdom, Irelnd, Island. Partnerships between civil society and local authorities will be favored.
